Scanning Services

RED offers scanning services for clients who need electronic versions of their photos. All images will be supplied as high-resolution jpgs. This is a great service for:

- scrapbookers who need copies of original photographs
- copies of old photos for relatives and family friends
- creating your own personal screensavers
- web graphics
- insurance records

FTP, email or CD delivery are available. Please note that standard postal fees will apply for images shipped on CD. Local delivery is free of charge (within a 20km radius of RED).

up to 20 scans - $2 each
21 to 50 scans - $1.75 each
51 to 100 scans - $1.50 each
101+ scans - $1.25 each
4 x 6 print - $3 per print

Photo Restoration Services

Do you have old photographs of people, places or special occasions that have become damaged? Irreplaceable keepsakes like these may have creases, tears, missing corners, fading, water spots and other defects.

Do you have photos that have annoying details you would like removed, or perhaps converted to black & white or sepia? Details can be sharpened, scratches can be removed and colours can be enhanced.

RED can restore your precious photos to prime condition. When your photo is ready we will send it as a digital file to print at home or your favourite processing shop.

If you have a photograph you would like re-touched, send RED the actual photo itself or a scanned file in jpg format. If you are scanning the image yourself, please ensure it is scanned with a resolution of 300 dpi at your desired print size. This will ensure the best end result.

Suggested resolutions:
- 4" x 6" = 1200 x 1800 pixels
- 5" x 7" = 1500 x 2100 pixels
- 8" x 10" = 2400 x 3000 pixels

Minor Re-Touching - $10 each
Complete Restoration - $25 each
